Immortal Technique, Poison Pen, Akir, SouthPaw and DJ Static came, they saw, they conquered.
The Melbourne show last night was amazing. I’ve filmed a lot of shows by some of the most well-known artists in hiphop and Tech had more presence on stage than 99% of them. In this, he is the 1%.
Poison Pen, Akir and DJ Static warmed up the sold out Espy front bar and by the time Tech hit the stage the crowd was in a frenzy. As each track ended the chants of “TECHNIQUE! TECHNIQUE! TECHNIQUE!” would start again. Booked for a 60 minute set, Tech and the crew were on stage for 90 minutes and absolutely gave the crowd all they were baying for and more.
